[Husker] Devaney had an excellent point

Per the Big-10 extending an offer to Nebraska to join their conference
and per Baylor wanting a package deal to stick with the other Texas
schools, today Baylor regent Buddy Jones pleaded in his email to the
Texas schools "It's hard enough to get the home teams to stick tight.
But harder still to influence a bunch of corn shuckers." 
 
Well Buddy, as Bob Devaney said when there were first talks of Texas
schools joining the Big-8 (to form the Big-12), "I'm opposed to that.
There are too many losers in that conference." 
 
Devaney had a point there.
