I've been following the hoopla about the conference realignments and one thing I can't understand is why any big conference is interested in texas.  Yes I know all about their tv set numbers and the quality of their athletics, but seriously after what happened to the southwest conference and what is happening in the big 12 I would think anyone would have to think twice about wanting these guys.  I'd love to have the big eight back and do the expansion again but would never include texas teams, or at least not the longhorns.
