[Husker] If Texas bolts

I can't imagine OU feels too good about the whole situation. Or any of the B12 schools faced with playing games in the Pac 10 time zone (see Bill Byrne's comments).

This leads me to another thought: might Osborne have something else up his sleeve? Something no-one has thought about yet? I mean, if he's had this long to ponder things and knows more about the machinations of it all than we do, could there be an alternative we haven't really considered yet? Maybe we keep OU and OSU in our fold? If the payout from 4 defectors (the Texas schools) is large enough, maybe we take that money and what remains of the big 12 (the old Big 8) looks to add 4 teams (or more). TCU, BYU, Utah, and Colorado State? Heck, maybe Boise State?

Maybe not plausible...I'm just thinking out loud and wondering if this might go a different direction than the scenarios we've all been hearing about.

I'm somewhat wishing the Big 12 was the conference raiding other conferences instead of being the one being raided.
