In that situation you have 4 divisions and you have a conference semi-final
as well as final.   I've heard that proposed before and I think that's what
the NCAA most fears.  Because these 'super conferences' can tell the NCAA to
shove it and do their own thing.

I was watching ESPN U today. -- And they had a long segment on the Big XII
and Pac 10 stories - One scenario they mentioned that we haven't seen much
of out of the midwest is that the Big XII and Pac 10 could fully merge -
making a 22 team league. 

That seems really ridiculous! In most sports you would never play every team
in the league in any one season! How would they even do that? 

I hope Nebraska uses this new found "power" to it's advantage and Dr. Tom
plays tough! If we're gonna stay in the Big 12 we need some Texas sized
benefits! 

Mizzou is probably thinking the same! 

Go Big Red! At least it's not just another dull "post spring game - how many
days til Football starts?" summer!
