The times, they are a changin'. Very much more of a Twilight Zone feeling than the last round of realignments way back when. Picture Rod Serling hovering just inside the door of the Big 12 (Big 10/11, SEC, Pac 10, whichever) meetings with the familiar cigarette and his "Imagine if you will.....". At least the summer isn't going to be completely boring until fall practice starts.
I think of one of my favorite lines from the John Wayne movie McClintock, where one of the Indians says "great party, where the whiskey?" I would guess that by the end of today Dan Beebe will want to knock back a few shots of Jack Daniels no matter what happens at his party!

Can I have back the old Southwestern Conference and Big Eight? Heck at
this point I would even be happy with the OLD Missiouri Valley
Conference.
