So where do we apply to get our college credits for this material?  I knew there 
was a reason this accountant stayed far away from the science area way back 
when.  I could drag you into my world of GAAP, FASB, compliance and such, but it 
would probably put everyone to sleep.  Not at all like these riveting posts!

I agree with the language quirks mentioned already and I will add my pet peeve.  
The phrase "begs the question" is nearly universally misused.  Begging the 
question is a logical argument flaw that involves assuming the conclusion.  
Basically, it is because it is.  Most people incorrectly use the phrase "begs 
the question" when they should be using "raises the question."

Actually my biggest language complaint is the I/me -- subject/object misuse in 
both directions, but I will restrain myself.
