I agree with the language quirks mentioned already and I will add my pet peeve. The phrase "begs the question" is nearly universally misused. Begging the question is a logical argument flaw that involves assuming the conclusion. Basically, it is because it is. Most people incorrectly use the phrase "begs the question" when they should be using "raises the question."

Actually my biggest language complaint is the I/me -- subject/object misuse in both directions, but I will restrain myself.
