For the most part I agree. The author has a valid point the video, and a few
others. But there are a couple of places in the article that I have issues
with, that I'd like to challenge the author with supporting. Such as the
claims that certain phrases were invented first in Texas. Or that we've
become more like Oklahoma (I'm not necessarily seeing the downside of that).
But comments on the story are hidden from the general viewing public,
requiring you to register at such a place as "InsideTexas" or some such
silliness. If the guy had any guts at all, he'd publish in place where his
comments can be held up to scrutiny; discussed and debated. But no, rather
than have an open conversation, its hidden deep within the soft cushioning
cocoon of "InsideTexas." Makes me want to beat them all the more.
