The NU Women's game started on time, but the telecast was joined in progress. I had it on Fox College Sports Central on digital cable. I think some earlier game went long. After a few minutes of Bob Stoops, the women were on. 

They started strong and built a 11-12 point lead before letting Colorado cut the lead to 8 before halftime. In the second half, the lead was between 6 and 12 points until about the last 10 minutes, when Nebraska were proving to be too much and they pulled away with a 16 point win, 80-64.  A lot of Husker fans were in the stands in Boulder.

The win makes Nebraska 19-0 on the year, with big games coming up in Lincoln against #15 Oklahoma State on Wednesday at 7 (fsn midwest and free video on Huskers.com) and #8 aTm at Noon Saturday, also on FSN.

Other teams ranked above the Huskers who played on Saturday all won- #1 UConn (60 game winning streak) - #2 Stanford and #3 Notre Dame. #4 Ohio State and #5 Tennessee have games on Sunday.

Also of note this week is that Kelsey Griffin was announced to be on the Wade Trophy watch list for the Top D1 Women's Hoops player.
