Went to the game. A very good crowd there tonight. Lots of crowd
support. And a pretty well played game, too. I think we could have
beaten most Big XII teams tonight. Not all shots were falling, but
they didn't rely heavily on the 3-pointer for scoring. They relied on
a smothering defense that kept the Sooners off their game most of the
evening. OU made a small run and closed within 11 with about 4 or so
minutes to go, but the Huskers put a lid on it quickly, and it was
over.

I was really pleased to see the intensity in this team, something not
seen the last time I saw them on TV. Several players on the floor
after balls, the double teams on the OU guards were really effective,
and they simply kept the big kid (Tiny Gallon - really? What were his
parents thinking?) with no room inside all night long - lots of double
teams, and a couple of triple teams. Good win. Is the bleeding over?
At least for now. But there still is time to salvage a bit more of
this season, but its up to these kids. They have to want to.

And if Anderson doesn't play at the next level, the NBA will be poorer for it.
