[Husker] Kiffin to USC?

Wow, solid football family? Solid enough to leave a program after one year?

Can you guys imagine how pissed people would be if Pelini had left after 2008, one and done?

I know the USC job is a great one, but I would have to question the younger Kiffin's motives a bit, and certainly his sense of loyalty to wherever he goes.

Will he leave for Oakland next week and go full circle? A good buddy of mine is a huge Oakland and USC fan, and absolutely HATES this move.

I have to disagree with you this time, Dick.  (A rare instance) Lane Kiffin comes from a solid football family with a history of winning. Lane will be much better suited for the college game as he will be able to relate to the student athlete.  The Raiders are about to fire yet another coach proving that there is no right coach for that franchise.

I sit here and try to remember who was a succesful coach in Oakland.   Can some folks on the list enlighten me?

I know they had a winning program in the 70's because I am a chief's fan and they were competitive every time we played them. OK...I remember...A big guy named Madden.  Any more?
