Well, I dunno. Seems he has the skill, arm strength and the feet to
do well. Certainly as well as some of the other rookies to come out
of college recently. CBS has him ranked at #12 ranked player coming
out of college this year, and the #1 QB (Tebow is #14/#2 and I really
don't see him as a pro QB). Scout has him at #30 in the draft (#3 QB
- Bradford [OU] and Tebow are ahead of him). I can't get Mel Kiper's
views without paying ESPN for his opinion, but I do know he has
Bradford at #5 overall. I'm guessing McCoy will be in the top 30.
Now, I realize that some of that is the needs of the NFL (may or may
not need QB's), and the quality of the available QB's, but it would
appear that McCoy is going to get his shot. None of that means he'll
be playing on Sunday, but he'll get a good look. I'm not sure he
won't be playing. Some of the guys playing on Sunday amaze me on how
they got there.
