[Husker] never to early to talk next year

I also find it hard to wait for the 2010 season. While painful, the
Texas loss showed that even with a struggling offense, Nebraska is
capable of beating anyone. The bowl performance showed the level of
domination we haven't seen in almost a decade. I'm also excited by the
roster. In addition to the HuskerExtra analysis below, I count, on the
2009 roster:
  80 Freshmen
  23 Sophomores
  26 Juniors
  14 Seniors

I assume the 80 freshmen is probably more indicative of the walk-on
program than of future talent, but it still counts for something and
it's clear how young this already talented team is.
[BTW, unless Alabama holds Texas to 0-2 points, Nebraska will finish as
the #1 scoring defense.]

My only concern is the offensive woes of 2009. Yes, the bowl
performance was good and yes, the team had lots of injuries. But
Nebraska has had to deal with injuries before with dropping to the
bottom 25% in scoring and total offense. If injuries was all it took to
sink the offense, could it happen to some extent again (to either the
offense or the defense)? I hope my concerns prove unfounded, but I wish
there was a fuller explanation of the offensive woes.

Go Big Red! Bring on 2010!
