I don't disagree wholeheartedly, but Doc has had some serious bad luck. With some injuries (McCray, Neiman) and just blatant mistakes by the admissions office (Sallie), imagine how different this team would be. Even if you just add Sallie, he's a true shooter who's doing very well at Memphis.
I hate to sound like I'm making excuses, but think about it.

I hope that solid player can play the point and rebound because those are two glaring weaknesses of this team. They constantly get outrebounded leading to too many easy baskets by the opponent.
Like Scully and Mulder, I want to believe, but this conference season has made me wonder if we're heading in the right direction.
