I'm still lobbying them to do Sports Nightly as a podcast. At least an MP3 download. Heck, I'd do it for them if they'd let me. I did email about the recent change they made to the website. Thankfully they went back to the old interface. All that flash was so slow and buggy.
On this current interface you can right click on the audio link and then "Save As" to get the asx file which is the link to the WMA audio file. Use that link to get the actual WMA audio file of Sports Nightly, or the game for that matter. If needed, use an MP3 encoder to convert to MP3 to put on your iPod. If you have a player that will play WMA files (Zune for example) no conversion is needed.
The conversion is fast and simple and it would not be that hard to setup a podcast and get it into iTunes. I just don't understand why they won't/don't do this. One simple Linux box would handle the entire job and could be totally automated.
