Our country has been made better by government action on:
Child labor limits.
Worker protections.
Social security.
Medicare.
Clean(er) air.
Clean(er) water.
Roads and highways, including the Interstate.
Product safety, including automobiles.
Food and drug safety.
Space exploration.

Just think?  I thought of these without much effort.  The list is long,
so I certainly could go on, but let's talk about football, not politics.

TO THE POINT, I wouldn't put college football in the category of
something greatly in need of improvement and demanding government
attention.  In fact, I like the current state of college football and
none of the suggested alternatives are widely viewed as superior by
fans, coaches, universities, and other stakeholders.  Isn't that the
real issue (and not the rest of politics)?
