[Husker] The fed bringing the heat on the BCS

If we're talking about an 8 team tournament (I'd rather have 16) then 6 out of the top 8 teams always go to what are now the BCS bowls.  The other two top teams don't play in a bowl at all, they play in the BCS championship game.  Doesn't affect the other gazillion brand-name bowls in any way.  Four of those teams would be available for bowl games since the quarters would be held in mid December.  So we are talking a minimal impact on the availability of top teams to the bowls.

Look, the BCS honks have spent time and money convincing everyone how complicated and hard to implement a tournament would be.  It isn't.  It's not rocket science, it's not brain surgery, it's not a burden on the players, it's not a conflict with exams.  It's money.
