Sad but predictable finish to the year. The boys seemed to get sloppier as
the season went along. Was it that we peaked too early in the season or is
this just an immature team? I think the latter. Immature teams believe the
early season hype after a little success and it bites them on the butt
later. Yeah, we had injuries along but last night's game was inexcusable.

Did I read the stats correctly this morning? Did we really get more penalty
yards than yards rushing? Wow. How sad. I thought "business as usual" was a
positive thing. Kinda glad now we didn't beat OK.... UConn would have rolled
us.

Being in the eastern part of the country (where the game didn't start until
10 pm), I turned it off at half-time and slept disgustingly well. In 35
years of following the Huskers, I have never given up on a game until last
night. The team seemed to have given up before I did.

Yeah, I'm disappointed. Does it show?
