I too would like to know what was wrong with Zac. There had to be something
wrong.
The development of the QBs has been nonexistent at best. Cody Green was
supposed to be the savior, yet after two full seasons in the program he
can't throw a ball within 5 yards of his receivers. I call him Cody Express
because he airmails everything. Taylor Martinez seems to make more stupid
mistakes with each game he plays. I don't recall him making those inane flip
throws against Western Kentucky or Idaho. He freezes at the sight of a pass
rush, and every time he gets tackled it's like a truck hit him. He's
physically and mentally undeveloped. So many questions with Taylor, but the
main one for me is this: how does a guy get so much *worse* during a
season??
NU may have great talent coming along in Carnes, Turner, and maybe Bubba,
but who's going to develop these guys into D-I starting quarterbacks?
