Like Dick, I noticed that Taylor came off the field and onto the
sideline alone after aggravating his ankle injury. He did look
detached from the rest of the team, and didn't seem to provide much
of a spark or much visible enthusiasm. It's possible to lead
without energy, just much harder. Maybe he had it, but not in ways
that could be seen by television viewers.

The team seemed to be a bit more energized when Cody came in, but
most of his passes were painful to watch. I'm not sure why he
should be so off on so many passes--I don't recall that he has
always struggled that badly with accuracy. Again, my memory may be
faulty here (wouldn't be a big surprise).

I'm still puzzled that Zac did not play. As has been said many
times on this list, when the team gets behind and has to pass it
seems he would be the most logical choice. He also seems to provide
more spark--another plus. Given that he was reportedly able to play
against Oklahoma, it seems hard to imagine he hadn't healed up
enough to play last night. Is it possible he's had concussions, and
is not allowed to play anymore? I've heard nothing to that effect,
just speculating.
