These are legitimate points.  When the whole Big 10 thing came up, it seemed to be a good idea if only because the football world was crumbling around us and we needed a place to land.  Might as well land in one of the best major conferences instead of worrying about ending up in the Mountain West.  But, as we have seen, the big parade to 16-team superconferences seems to have stalled for now. If the Big 12 continues to soldier on for the next 5, 10 or 15 years, our decision may end up looking like a terrible one as we enter the meat grinder that is Big 10 football.

>From watching last night's performance, I am now officially very worried about next year's hellish Big 10 schedule.

This will not be a fun off-season.
