Taylor's dad admits that he initiated phone calls to the medical staff and 
Taylor after the first half injury against A&M, then encouraged Taylor to skip a 
treatment session the next day.

While I guess it's nice to get the conventional wisdom confirmed, I question 
what message Casey is trying to deliver.  Why would he tell his son to skip 
treatment the day after, and why would he open up about this the day before the 
Holiday Bowl to a Southern California newspaper?
