[Husker] Bubba Starling

I've said for quite a while (partially because I'm a BIG baseball fan and
would love to see him play here) that even though he says he doesn't know
what he's going to do, I can't imagine a kid turning down $5-10M for a
college baseball/football career (it has happened, but it's rare).

 

I'm also usually skeptical about the ability to play 2 sports (especially at
QB), but if anyone could pull it off it would be Bubba.  He is just a freak
of an athlete.  He's every bit of 6'5" and has a great frame that could
easily see 230lb without losing a speck of quickness with an absolute rocket
arm and blazing speed.  

 

I hope he gets to put on a Husker uniform, but I'm not holding my breath.
I wouldn't think even one tiny bit less of him if he took the MLB money, not
one little bit.  If he does come to NU, I won't miss a minute of his
football or baseball career.

I can't imagine him showing up (no insider info, I'm just a glass half full
guy), but if he does? My goodness.  Ridiculous depth at QB.
