[Husker] Huskers to open 2011 season with 1-AA

As I recall, about two years ago, Nebraska was proposing something similar with
a five game deal. Three games in Lincoln, one in Laramie, and one at Invesco.
I assume Wyoming didn't like playing four games away from home, though I'd think
the revenue in Denver would have been much greater, especially if they could
play that Denver game on Labor Day weekend.

Perhaps TO should see if he could convince UWyo to move the game to INVESCO
Field at Mile High. I can see a number of reasons why Wyo would not want to do
this...shucks, it may end up feeling like an away game for them in their own
stadium anyway!

That said, I bet we could fill INVESCO.

The smaller (by reputation if not size) non-AQ schools have figured
out that they don't have to take away-only games, even with a big paycheck
attached. Just say 'no thanks' to those deals.

Faced with a choice of offering a home/home series to a Division 1 FBS team,
playing a team from Division 1-FCS if not Division 2, or an open date and
an 11 game season, what would you do?

Nebraska also has a lot of fans and alums in the western end of the state,
this game will be a whole lot closer than driving to Lincoln. So it's not
a lose-lose proposition.
