I think this is a fair deal. Wyoming will play us twice in Lincoln (in
2013 and 2016), so it is basically a 2-1 deal in our favor. We've
previously done this with Southern Miss (1999 @Lincoln, 2003
@Hattiesburgh, 2004 @Lincoln) and will be doing it again with both
Fresno State and Southern Miss in future seasons:
Fresno State: 2011 @Lincoln, 2014 @Fresno, 2016 @Lincoln,
Southern Miss: 2012 @Lincoln, 2013 @Hattiesburg, 2015 @Lincoln
I am fine with doing this for respectable "mid-major" teams (teams from
the WAC or MWC). It's actually a good scheduling tactic since it fills
a slot for 3 different seasons. Wyoming, Fresno State and Southern Miss
are decent programs with some history. It's not like we're gonig on the
road to play Louisiana-Monroe.
