Oh, I think the names are wonderfully creative (they're listed below my
signature if you haven't viewed the press release).

I can think of some similar awards that the Big XII-II could bestow:

> The Kramer-Kramer Award for Best Intra-Conference Dispute Management
> The Scarecrow-J. Bruce Ismay(*) Award for Trophy Presentation Courage and
Fortitude at the Commissioner Level
> The Vichy-Quisling Award for Most Obsequious Deference to Whatever Texas
Wants To Do
> The Lance Ito-East German Gymnastics Judge Award for Impartial Officiating
> The Einstein-Blind Watchmaker Award for Precise Game Clock Management in a
Conference Championship
> The Blutarsky-Katzenmoyer(**) Award for Academic Excellence
> The Leach-Mangino Award for Outstanding Player Discipline

(*) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Bruce_Ismay - he's unsinkable, and his
heart will go on ...
(**) Yeah, I know, he's Big Ten ... too soon? 8^)

A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring
one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their
own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the
mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of
good government... - Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address
