Fictional telephone discussion...
Hocutt, "Hey Bo, *IF* I really wanted you to coach the U, would you seek
permission from Nebraska?"
BP, "Sure. I would seek permission from Nebraska for an opportunity to
interview, if you were interested in conducting an interview with me for
HC."
Hocutt, "OK, then I don't need to interview you, but I might have agent or
contractor contact you about some details, in the event that I might someday
be interested in your service as HC."
BP, "Sounds good." and he thinks about leveraging his contract as he hangs
up the phone.
~~~
However, with the Austin-Statesmen making similar reports on Papuchis ...
You wonder if the Big XII is trying to put a hatchet job on Big Red
recruiting [create unstable atmosphere raising doubt amongst recruits...
Whatever happens, will happen. So, until TO and BP are together in front of
the mics/cameras dispelling rumors and innuendos, I think we simply need to
let this all play out.
Is Sandy Buda still available?
Cheers,
Steve G
Remeber the old "I am not asking you to interview for the job, but if I did
would you be interested" from this summer?
