[Husker] This is Beginning to Get a Little Disconcerting

Scott, I couldn't tell, were you serious with your post?  The WH cited an additional Florida newspaper.

Concerning Papuchis, many would say that Texas has a better football program than we do.  They certainly have owned us over the years.

I hope Bo stays, but I wouldn't be shocked if he takes the Miami job considering he hasn't denied interviewing for it.

R U serious? That argument is so circular it is sad. The World Herald quoted the Miami Herald. That is where this rumor started.

Now, if you want to make a good conspiracy. Look at the article about John Papuchis leaving NU for Texas to coach the defensive line. He came with Bo from LSU and has nearly the equivalent job at NU with more responsibility (Defensive Ends and Special Teams).

So if he is going it must mean that Bo is leaving. Right? Unless you think coaching for Texas is a step up from NU, which couldn't be true. Or that Texas pays more money, never.

Oh and how about there is a cold snap in Miami right now. It must be welcoming Bo for his interview.

OK, if you don't believe the WH, read the story in the Florida Sun Sentinel.

I am not reading this as you do. An alternate interpretation is that BP is on a recruiting trip and TO is getting a little tired of the World Herald.

I mean in the past month they have brought us the news that TM would never take a snap at NU again, done a hammer job on the offensive coordinator, etc. I would not be rushing to answer their calls. In fact, if something was going on I would probably give it to another paper.

One more thing, did any of you consider that Bo didn't consult with TO b/4 he spoke with the Miami AD?  Now that doesn't sound like the Bo we know, does it????

Pelini, Osborne and Perlman all deline comment on a story from the South Florida Sun-Times that the UM AD has spoken to Pelini about the HC vacancy. "He's in the mix," says an anonymous source.
