[Husker] how young is too young?

I skipped a grammer school grade when we moved and changed school districts, 
so I graduated high school at 16 (turned 17 that summer).  I remember feeling 
immature the first couple years of college; OTOH, I was not an athelete being 
offered a scholorship at a national football power.
