In the article I read it said that he missed the fourth grade .but had made up two years in one years worth of classes. I don't know how you do that

  Good post.

I have a daughter who was 17 when she went to college (2 years ago). She started school early because of a clerical mistake, but did fine and was actually in advanced courses (thank God).

I say that for this reason. She was still immature for entering college, but luckily had an older sister at the college. She has done well in her courses, but does not have to enter into on-field combat with more mature individuals.

I guess you could say this is questionable. I think the individual should be able to attend college, but his football eligibility should be delayed. Why? Well we will advance kids a grade in their education, but that doesn't mean they get a driver's license early or can drink before they are 21.

  Comments accepted.

I read an article and in it he said he wanted to redshirts so that would make him 17 when he starts to play.

Don't remember this being posted here. Givens Price is only 16 yrs old, and he's committed to the Huskers...and will start classes next year.

Not sure what I think about this one. Even though he's a Senior, I think that's awfully young to be playing college football. What do you think.
