Good post.
I have a daughter who was 17 when she went to college (2 years ago). She
started school early because of a clerical mistake, but did fine and was
actually in advanced courses (thank God).
I say that for this reason. She was still immature for entering college,
but luckily had an older sister at the college. She has done well in her
courses, but does not have to enter into on-field combat with more
mature individuals.
I guess you could say this is questionable. I think the individual should be
able to attend college, but his football eligibility should be delayed. Why?
Well we will advance kids a grade in their education, but that doesn't mean
they get a driver's license early or can drink before they are 21.
Comments accepted.
