[Husker] Bo Knows Stubborn

All true. But there is also an element some call "game coaching" or "play calling" or just knowing what is going on in the context of that particular game and situation in addition to what would be called "normally". At that point in the game, Taylor Martinez had virtually fallen apart. It was evident to anyone watching, from the very beginning of the game he could not run. We spent quite a bit of time trying to run a zone read offense with a quarterback who could not run. His frustration level and confidence were shot. Fumbles, the int, repeatedly getting stuffed, the truly ugly sacks. Well before the fourth quarter, TM could not do anything right. He was done, shot, completely out of it. One could question why he was in the game. But having him drop back to throw with the game on the line (more that once) was/were probably not the right call(s).
