I'm the first to allow your opinion, but that's not the team I saw! Offensive miscues are a problem, but some of the "miscues" were brought about by good defense. 

The difference between brilliant play calls and bonehead play calls is the success of the play! The coaches don't have the luxury to know the results like we do!

I agree that this season's suckage was nothing like the Callahan era's
suckage, but in a way, it's harder to accept.  Our losses were largely
self-inflicted wounds.  Even the loss to A&M shouldn't have been close
enough for the phantom PF on CO to make a difference.

If we weren't so prone to penalties and drive killing fumbles we are #1 or
#2 and playing for a MNC.  In many ways this year was much like last year.
It's hard to see a lot of improvement or player development on offense, when
what we needed after last year was improvement and player development on
offense.
