I agree that this season's suckage was nothing like the Callahan era's
suckage, but in a way, it's harder to accept.  Our losses were largely
self-inflicted wounds.  Even the loss to A&M shouldn't have been close
enough for the phantom PF on CO to make a difference.

If we weren't so prone to penalties and drive killing fumbles we are #1 or
#2 and playing for a MNC.  In many ways this year was much like last year.
It's hard to see a lot of improvement or player development on offense, when
what we needed after last year was improvement and player development on
offense.
