[Husker] Why not try it from 63?

Can someone explain why we still punted so quickly the last time when OU was marked for being offside which moved the ball to their 45?  The camera was behind and the next thing I see is the punted ball in the air.  Did our coaching staff not even take a second to think about the possibility of trying a 63 yarder to tie it??  Our gassed defense did give us a final chance which we blew, but I think I might take the odds of Alex Henery at that point in time and it appears our illustrious coaching staff did not even have it on their radar screen.
