[Husker] Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda!

The Defense held OU to 2 Field Goals in the 2nd half! That is amazing
considering the plays they were making and the field position they were getting!
The D kept us in the game and gave us a chance.

The offense struggled after the midway point in the 2nd quarter (maybe after the
1st quarter!).  Martinez played like a hurt Redshirt Freshman. Not his best game
at all. Maybe one of his worst.

All year we've been hearing about this "quarterback competition." Well, since we
have 3 strong QB's, why did we stay with an ineffective, hurt QB? Any other
position, they are on the bench the 2nd half. At some point, the coaches lost
this game by not coaching in a way to get us points (even field goals
by Henery). 2 Field Goals by Henery and WE would be on the way to the Fiesta
Bowl and own the Big XII 2010 Trophy. There were field goal opportunities in the
second half that were lost. What if we had played (especially in the 4th
quarter) to get those field goals? I know, always play for the TD, but it just
wasn't working!

Just my 2 cents!

He is playing hurt for U, for us, for his team, and for this STATE...

You forgot mom's apple pie 8-)

You are right, Taylor alone didn't lose this game, but he did make
several freshman mistakes;taking sacks instead of getting rid of the
ball, throwing into coverage, and fumbling the ball.  I am saying that a
healthy Zack wouldn't have made those choices.

As far as the defense, I am going to throw it back at you and ask what
game were you watching?  For Oklahoma to come away with only 2 field
goals in the second half is amazing considering where they started some
of their from.
