[Husker] Ugly Loss, but Great Game

Defense played incredibly well tonight. The stats don't reflect it, of course, but they were tough when they needed to be.
I'm not sure why Pelini went back to Taylor Martinez. Burkhead seemed to be doing well. Maybe he thought OU would be playing soft if TM was in there, but would load up for Burkhead. I would really like to hear what he has to say about that decision.
Some of the turnovers/fumbles were the result of hard hitting by the OU defense.
Sacks could have been avoided, if TM would have made his reads quicker and then gotten rid of the ball. I think his injury and lack of recent playing time really hurt him.
Can't fault the players for not trying. I loved the hard play...all the way to the end.
Disappointing loss, but to a well respected opponent. I didn't see any antics by either side. That's how football is supposed to be played.
I'm going to miss this series (although I don't know that I'll miss the heart-breaking losses).
Hope the Sooners blow out their opponent in the Fiesta.
Hope the Huskers get a decent bowl.
