[Husker] Martinez - rumored phone use

Regarding the rumored mobile phone use, my understanding is that 
Taylor Martinez was getting medical care of some sort.  Is there no 
allowance for talking to a parent about a possible treatment 
decision?  Having had a son who was a Big 10 varsity runner, I can 
understand a father's legitimate interest in medical treatment of 
his son.
