It was an attempt at a joke from the last two Nebraska coaching searches.
In 2003, after Solich was fired, there was a rumor circulating on the Husker
LIst that a cable installer had been summoned to install service for Bob
Davie, recently fired at Notre Dame, at his new home in Lincoln.

In 2007, after Callahan was fired, some hardcore NU fans on
huskerpedia.com(?) noted that the private plane registered to Norfolk
Iron & Metal was
making flights from Lincoln to Baton Rouge, Buffalo, and Atlanta, per the
flightaware.com site (which allows searches by airplanes' tail numbers).
The story as I remember it is that Tom Osborne flew to Baton Rouge to pick
up Bo Pelini, then coaching at LSU, and escorted him to Atlanta, where the
search firm leading NU's coaching search was headquartered. Likewise, Tom
picked up Turner Gill in Buffalo and flew him to Atlanta to interview.
After this became public knowledge, the Norfolk Iron plane was suddenly
removed from the FlightAware site, which can only be done by the registered
owner, lending credence to the theory that it was being used for the NU
coaching search. (Dick Robinson, head of Norfolk Iron, is a Husker booster
who presumably lent his plane to the Nebraska athletic department.)

A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring
one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their
own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the
mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of
good government... - Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address
