Heck, you can be dismissed from the team and lose your scholarship,
but still be enrolled in school.  You just have to pay for your
education yourself.  I don't think that would be a consideration of
the Athletic Department; if you're bad-to-the-bone and they want you
gone, too bad, so sad for you.
