Wow….

 

I feel like I should comment on it as it would somehow give credence to that crap. 

 

I will anyway.  It WASN’T NEBRASKA that destroyed the Big XII.  It was Texas and Beebe.  Tom told Texas and Beebe, “Look, we know 6 of the teams are looking at the Pac 10, give us a reason to believe you’re sticking around.”  Beebe/Texas responds with an ultimatum that we’re supposed to commit to the Big XII and they’ll think about it.  Should we really stick to a conference that nobody say they’re committed to keeping it around?

 

Second, the whole article is about how nobody will miss NU and we were irrelevant.   Yet, at the end she says that nobody cares that CU is leaving because they don’t count.  In other words, we must be relevant to the conference because she clearly cares.

 

Oh the arrogance and ignorance.  WE MUST WIN SATURDAY.  I can’t wait to walk off the field with their trophy and never have to worry about them again.
