Very interesting article about where the best football is being played in the last dozen years.  Or it is probably more accurate to say, where most of the best players play in the last dozen years. I wonder if this cyclical or permanent?  Who knows.  But it doesn't appear to be changing soon.  It's not about money or facilities or coaching or anything else, it's about the players...where the talent is and where it goes to play. There was a quote attributed to Bear Bryant many years ago, which I'm sure I've gotten way wrong, but Bear was once asked about dedication, commitment, work ethic, etc. his response was something like "Yeah, all those things are good, but on Saturday you better show up with some players."
