I haven't looked it up, but I think Mich lost to Indiana at Indiana
last in 1986 or 87, but had not lost to Indiana at home since 1967.
And not to give away too many secrets, that was the year of Indiana's
last Rose Bowl appearance, I believe, where they faced a little known
back at USC by the name of OJ Simpson. Luckily, they didn't have to
play both Michigan and Ohio State that year. I was in high school and
a big fan then, and my Mom is a Hoosier grad, so I came by it
honestly. Didn't convert to the current Big Red until my rebirth as a
grad student in Lincoln in the early '80's.

Anyway, I may still have a soft spot in my heart for the Hoosiers, but
to quote Bob Uecker "Personally, I think we got hosed on that call!"
