[Husker] I think I like this coach

They also do not want to give away too much info on these shows that
other coaches may find useful, hence the "vanilla" style.

To be truthful, I don't really care all that much for coaches shows.
The FSKansas City channel on Cox will play several coaches shows from
the Big XXII conference during the week, and none are worth using DVR
space for. While coaches are hired to be the face of the program, few
are media darlings, and fewer are media savvy. Bo is neither. He
really does look like he'd rather be having a root canal, the lack of
analysis of game film is striking, and I saw it once and figured there
must be reruns of the Brady Bunch I'd rather be watching. I have
watched Doc Sadler a few times, and at least he has energy and seems
glad to have a chance to talk about basketball to anyone. Do you
blame him?

I do tend to watch the Big Red Wrapup on NET on Tuesday nights. While
Fiala can get a bit tiresome, Kugler is quite competent and they have
several guests that are interesting to listen to. This week's show
featured Joe Ganz diagnosing a Husker running play, showing the film,
then the schematic, then a breakdown on how the players executed the
play. Pretty interesting. And his take on Lee's performance was
pretty interesting too (but he does want to become a coach, so he has
to watch what he says). They usually have a phone interview with a
new recruit, with Shawn Callahan. and with other sports writers. I
imagine because of contractual issues they can't interview any of the
coaches, which is really too bad. All in all, I think its the best
post-game analysis at least here in Nebraska. They even give game
predictions for the next week by running a PS3 (or XBox) NCAA College
Football 2010 simulation - spoiler alert - the computer predicts NU 38
- Louisiana 3.

Disclaimer: I don't work for NET, nobody in my family works for NET,
and I don't receive any free broadcasts from NET. Well, actually I
can get free broadcasts from NET but I have cable so I guess I pay for
the free broadcasts anyway.
