This was a bad weekend - Tony Romo threw 3 interceptions and Dallas lost by
2 points. Zac Lee threw 2 interceptions and UNL lost by 1 point. Romo is a
pro and we know what he can do. Lee is still a student and unknown. However,
Lee's statistics were very poor and reminiscent of QB's in the 1950's when
we were at UNL. His showing at VT may be what most college scouts expected
and why he was not heavily recruited. Let's hope he improves or we will lose
many more games. Also, UNL played not to lose when near the end zone.
Long, long time fan --Wes

Subject: [Husker] Three points of worry
I took away three points of worry from watching the game on Saturday.
1) VaTech's Defense shut down Helu easily on those outside option type runs.
He could not turn the corner because there he'd run into a pack of Hokies
waiting for him.
2) VaTech's O-Line provided great protection for Tyrod, giving him the time
he needed to throw some bad passes. Were he a better passer, this game may
not have been close.
3) No TD's by the offense. FGs are great, but once you kick so many, they
may actually mentally wear down the confidence within the offense.
