[Husker] Three points of worry

Joe, completely disagree about 1 and 2.

Helu turned the corner a lot. In fact, we didn't start getting any serious
yards until we stopped running right up the middle.

2nd, we sacked Taylor quite a few times and Suh pushed his man back in
Taylor's face quite a few times (ended up batting down FOUR passes).

1 and 2 are the exact opposite of what actually happened.

I will agree somewhat that a better QB would have hit those throws, but a
less mobile better thrower wouldn't have bought time like he was able to on
a couple of those.

Subject: [Husker] Three points of worry

I took away three points of worry from watching the game on Saturday.

1) VaTech's Defense shut down Helu easily on those outside option type runs.
He could not turn the corner because there he'd run into a pack of Hokies
waiting for him.

2) VaTech's O-Line provided great protection for Tyrod, giving him the time
he needed to throw some bad passes. Were he a better passer, this game may
not have been close.

3) No TD's by the offense. FGs are great, but once you kick so many, they
may actually mentally wear down the confidence within the offense.
