While the game overall was overly conservative, I think running Helu between the tackles into a stacked box on 1st and 10 on the last drive (not the <20 seconds plays) was a waste of a down and really put us behind the markers. I understand how quick they were side to side but such a fast play allowed them to make quick stop and call time out with only a few seconds coming off the clock. A pitch or option could have taken a couple more seconds off the clock, plus really could have resulted in a big play.

It was as if we were still taking into account Macho, even though he is no longer on the field. I personally would have liked to see some more screen/shovel passes as well as some quick/timing slants in the direction of the blitz.

Playcalling on the last drive? Last drive?

How 'bout having Lee throw the ball so damned much when it was clear
he was struggling. How 'bout not having Helu and Burkhead run the ball
more often when it was clear it was being successful.

Shawn Watson - genius? He wasn't a genius yesterday.
