[Husker] Huskers Slip In Polls

The "logic" of the polls is once again on display as the Huskers slip 
to 24th in the coaches' poll and 25th in the AP, yet Virginia Tech 
moves up a notch from 13th to 12th.

Not that it matters much at this time of year (or any time of the 
year, for that matter), but it illustrates how the subjectivity of 
these polls.

I stand by my assertion that this loss will provide a powerful 
incentive for this Husker team for the balance of the season much 
like the overtime loss to Texas Tech did last year. This team has 
character and doesn't know the meaning of quit.
