[Husker] Watson

For most of these guys, after a certain point, it's less about the actual money and more about the position. The money is more of an ego thing than anything. Even so, with the money head coaches make, NU could still double his salary and he'd still make more as a head coach elsewhere.
I think a lot of people are worried that Shawn Watson might return to Colorado with Dan Hawkins starting to flame out. Problem there is that while they may have an opening, the environment in Boulder might actually be the worst in the Big XII. (Money problems at CU, inability to give assistants multi-year contracts...) I don't think it takes much to keep Watson away from CU ... unless he really wants to return.

Throw all the money you like at him, and it'll be a waste. If he decides to be a head coach, he'll be a head coach.
