Steven...nice post but check yourself yo. You would miss your 5th grade son's first game as a Cushing Mini-tiger for a watch party against Arkansas State? You got priority issues dude. Now if it was Missouri... :-)

I attended the "watch party" at the Radisson Hotel in Tulsa, hosted by the Oklahoma Cornhusker club. They had nearly 300 people and 180 had registered by 5:00 PM. They had to split them into two rooms and it was a great time. My thanks go out to Don and the other organizer's of the event. We actually rented a room because we had all of our kids swimming in the indoor/outdoor water park. We live about an hour away from Tulsa and I will attend again. Maybe next week if I can talk my wife into taking my 5th grade son to Seminole for his first game as a Cushing Mini-tiger football player.
Now...to the game.
1.) Zac Lee...excellent field presence, great sense of patience. No worries...only get better.
2.) Cody Green...Tall, Fast and pretty good arm. Reminds me of a better running Freeman (K-State)
3.) Physical play on both sides of the ball...many less missed tackles.
4.) Helu...and Burkhead...no issues other than depth. I would have liked to see Okafor
5.) Corner's looked good...but the receivers just keep a coming. That Gillian will be Lee's "go to" guy
6.) Linebackers...looked pretty stout...and special teams were "caliente"
These are the reason's college teams win...solid coaching that instills pride, work ethic and actually coaches that actuallt "coach".
This team may surprise alot of Husker fans and the Big 12....
GO BIG RED!
